To make the registration process more seamless (and to make it a reusable solution), I ll show you how to create a timer job that registers the mobile control adapter in your solution. This timer job will be invoked when a feature is activated or deactivated. The second alternative, which I ll show you in this example, is to change the last edited time on the default compat.browser so that ASP.NET thinks that the file has been updated and thus recompiles all browser definition files.
